Rose Trust CBR work for persons with disability makes
headway
Rose Trust organized a one-day training programme for
persons with disability on 22nd July at Panchayat Union
Primary School (West), Kruinjipady.
The following resource persons participated in the programme:

• Mr.C.Arokiadoss, LAMP President
• Mrs.A.Arokiamary,CBR Cordinator LAMP
• MR.Muruganantham, IEPC CUDDALORE
• Mr.Sundar, CBR Cordinator LAMP and ROSE
• MR.Deivasigamani, Supervisor BRC Kurinijipady
The following topics were discussed:
• Schemes in DDRO Office Cuddalore
• Main schemes in SSA schemes for child development
• Role of key persons with disabilities
• Importance of special self help groups
• Roles and responsibilities of NGOS in promoting rights of
the
PWDS
• Communication and sharing
• Self Transformation
60 persons with disability participated in the one day
programme, including 6 CBR workers and 2 NGO coordinators.
Rose Trust believes that the programme had the following
impact:
• Key pwds learnt various skills
• Ready to involve in various services
• DDRO ready to provide tri-cycle to a girl on August 15th,
through
the District Collector of cuddalore
• Persons with disability are ready to form a federation
• Ready to conduct screening camp for getting National
identity card
• Ready to work with the CBR workers of ROSE
